Managing Products in Orders

Removing Products from Orders

Orders are set to generate 3 days in advance. This is a preference that is set in preferences (page 3). Inactivating a product will stop the item from being included in future orders but will not remove it from existing orders. 


From the Supplier Location location navigate as follows:

  1. Administration

  2. Catalog

  3. Products

  4. Edit

  5. Inactive

  6. Save Changes


Pulling the product from existing sales orders

  1. Orders

  2. Update Orders

    1. Type = Sales Orders

    2. Date = Day you want push the product into an order (orders must be open)

    3. Shift = Production 1

    4. Action Type = Pull Products (you can only pull one product at a time)

    5. Add Products

    6. Select product to pull, if it is inactive, remove the active items check and click apply in the product picker to find the product to pull

    7. Check the product to pull

    8. Select Products

    9. Update Orders

    10. Repeat process to pull additional products


Pushing a Product into Order Templates

When adding new products, you can easily add the product to multiple order templates

From the Supplier Location

  1. Administration

  2. Catalog

  3. Product

  4. Find the product you want to put into the order templates

  5. Edit the product

  6. Click the Order Templates link from inside the product details

  7. Click Add Locations

  8. Select the locations to add the product to

  9. Click Update items

  10. Select all the stores by clicking the icon to the left of the word location (this will check all stores quickly)

  11. At the bottom of the location list, click the Edit Checked Items button

  12. Under the Quantities section check include in bulk edit

  13. Enter 1 in the box for the production days

  14. Save Changes


Pushing a Product into Open Orders

From the Supplier Location

  1. Orders

  2. Update Orders

    1. Type = Sales Orders

    2. Date = Day you want pull product from (orders must be open)

    3. Shift = Production 1

    4. Action Type = Push Products (you can only push one product at a time)

    5. Add Products

    6. Select product to push

    7. Check the product

    8. Select Products

    9. If you want to push the product to specific contacts, click the add contacts link and select the contacts and click select contacts

    10. Quantity = amount to put on selected orders

    11. Update Orders
